Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th: Baskerville Memorial Hall in Baskerville was once the hub of grape growers & wine makers in the Swan Valley. Nestled among the vines on Memorial Avenue, it has a rich association with the community of the Swan Valley.
On Saturday March 15th and Sunday 16th March, the Valley Learning Centre invites you to take a trip down memory lane for the Vintage Festival. This year celebrates 180 years of wine making in the Swan Valley and we will have a visual display outlining the role of Baskerville Hall in years gone by, and the many Grape Shows and community events that have been hosted here.
We will also showcase our present day activities, by offering an exhibition and sale of amazing art & craft, produced by our very talented members. As done in the past, local producers will be invited to showcase their wares at Baskerville Hall for this event!
The Valley Learning Centre is a volunteer based, self funded community group.
Our historical display and present day art & craft show will be open 10am – 3pm on Saturday March 15th and Sunday 16th March 2014.
Entry to this event is FREE.
There will be tea, coffee & light refreshments on sale. There are lawn areas and a playground within the Baskerville Hall grounds.
